Position Overview:

The Purchase Specialist plays a vital role in the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities are executed efficiently and effectively. The responsibilities include:

  • Order Management: Prepare and manage purchase orders while liaising with vendors to clarify requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and precise purchasing and supplier documentation, ensuring compliance with audit standards.
  • Vendor Relations: Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with production scheduling to facilitate accurate forecasting and timely delivery schedules.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to guarantee on-time delivery of products and services.
  • Work Prioritization: Effectively prioritize tasks to meet customer demands and communicate progress with supervisors.
  • Data Management: Oversee data control, including the collection and dissemination of necessary information to complete tasks.
  • Supplier Monitoring: Track and assess the performance and quality of sub-vendors and suppliers, both domestically and internationally.
