Position Overview As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will be pivotal in shaping the first impression patients have of our clinic. Your role will involve educating patients and their families about our services, managing expectations, and gathering essential information for both new and returning patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear communication regarding insurance processes and payment expectations.
  • Collect and verify patient and guarantor information, including insurance details.
  • Guide patients through the check-in process, including information on parking and services.
  • Prepare customized welcome packets for new patients, including scheduling itineraries.
  • Assist patients in understanding financial assistance options and payment arrangements.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or healthcare-related coursework preferred.

Experience: Six months of experience at Billings Clinic preferred; customer service experience, particularly in healthcare, is desirable.
