Job Description

Amcor plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in a Plant Operations role. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Accounting: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial support and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
