Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist District Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and maintain a high level of quality assurance in all pharmacy operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations and laws, and ensure that our pharmacy operations are in compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, and provide guidance and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of medications and supplies, and ensure that our pharmacy is well-stocked and able to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of our pharmacy operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical setting.
  • Licensure: Active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
