Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contingent Patient Services Representative to join our team at Wayne Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in our outpatient clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and guests in a courteous manner, schedule appointments, complete check-in and check-out processes, and answer phone calls and document messages.
  • Patient Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments according to defined protocols, inform patients of appointment dates, arrival times, and locations, and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, collect co-payments and fees, and process billing information.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to deliver a positive patient experience, identify and respond to additional needs, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of medical billing or physician office experience, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: EHR system experience required, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and basic office skills.
