Position Overview

The Senior Enterprise Architect will be instrumental in defining and directing the technological framework of Triumph Group, ensuring it aligns with corporate objectives and adheres to industry standards. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of aerospace manufacturing on a global platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and sustain a detailed enterprise architecture strategy that is in sync with the organization's business aspirations.
  • Engage with business leaders, IT personnel, and other critical stakeholders to comprehend present and future business requirements, translating these into architectural frameworks.
  • Maintain documentation of the existing enterprise architecture while overseeing ongoing initiatives within IT and business sectors.
  • Identify and prioritize areas for enhancement to boost system performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Guide and mentor in the assessment, selection, and integration of technological solutions, ensuring they meet compatibility, scalability, and security standards.
  • Establish and uphold architectural standards, policies, and best practices to ensure uniformity, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Define the organizational needs for resources, structures, and cultural shifts essential for supporting Enterprise Architecture.
  • Lead and contribute to architecture evaluations, technology reviews, and solution design discussions.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes pertinent to aerospace and defense manufacturing.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing business processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and expert on enterprise architecture, providing support and guidance to IT teams and business leaders.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of experience in information technology, information systems, or business systems, with a minimum of 4 years focused on enterprise architecture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings with site personnel, management, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies (e.g., ERP, PLM, MES) is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF (or similar), are advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in designing, integrating, and implementing complex, scalable, and secure IT architectures.
  • Skilled in monitoring team and project progress, making adjustments for obstacles or necessary changes within architectural design implementations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a strategic perspective.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of driving change and fostering innovation.
