Cancer Program Coordinator Specialist

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cancer Program Coordinator Specialist to join their team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and maintaining timely and accurate information about cancer diagnosed and/or treated within RRMC. They will also assist with compliance for an approved Cancer Program as set forth by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC).
In addition to these responsibilities, the Cancer Program Coordinator Specialist will assist with cancer committee meetings and agendas, tumor board, cancer registry operations, data collection, quality management, and cancer data analysis/submission to the CoC, National Cancer Data Base (NCDB), State of Vermont, and other accrediting bodies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to analyze and report cancer data to ensure quality and promote growth and development within regional cancer programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, collect, and maintain timely and accurate information about cancer diagnosed and/or treated within RRMC
- Assist with compliance for an approved Cancer Program as set forth by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC)
- Assist with cancer committee meetings and agendas
- Assist with tumor board
- Contribute to cancer registry operations
- Collect and manage data
- Ensure quality management
- Analyze and report cancer data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completion of college-level Anatomy and Physiology course
- Prior medical office experience
- Tumor Registry experience
- Certified Tumor Registrar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate Microsoft Office skills
Estimated Salary Range: $23.53 - $34.78
