Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and meticulous individual to fill the position of Logistics and IT Support Specialist. This unique role combines the responsibilities of delivering packages with the technical expertise required for maintaining and repairing Chromebooks during non-delivery hours.

The Logistics and IT Support Specialist will be tasked with operating, cleaning, and servicing delivery vehicles. This includes executing local deliveries and maintaining communication with the central warehouse for instructions on pickups and deliveries. While warehouse duties are minimal, the role requires a hands-on approach to vehicle maintenance and organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Listening attentively to customers' descriptions of their computer issues, accurately following orders, and diagnosing problems to provide effective solutions.
  • Assessing and evaluating the technical needs of clients.
  • Conducting repairs on electronic devices.
  • Troubleshooting both network and individual hardware or software issues.
  • Setting up or fixing computer hardware along with related devices such as printers and scanners.
  • Driving delivery vehicles along designated routes.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles, including routine cleaning and fueling for subsequent use.
  • Performing minor vehicle repairs, such as tightening loose components and inspecting moving parts.
  • Monitoring the need for significant repairs, including engine maintenance and tire replacements.
  • Executing daily pickups and deliveries at predetermined locations.
  • Loading and unloading a 17' Box Truck and/or Vans.
  • Maintaining safe driving practices and adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Receiving goods from the warehouse and ensuring proper delivery.
  • Collaborating with warehouse personnel to guarantee timely deliveries, including order pulling and inventory management.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned.

  • Prior experience as a computer technician or in a related IT field is typically necessary.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or GED preferred; one to three years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
