Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames, utilizing the most efficient routes possible to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies related to safety standards and vehicle operation.
  • Safely load and secure cargo, ensuring that all products are properly blocked, braced, and secured to prevent damage during transit.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transfer, load, and unload products, ensuring accurate product and quantity are being loaded into customer vehicles.
  • Perform pre-check and post-check operations on company vehicles and forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including loading and unloading products, and ensuring accurate product and quantity are being loaded for customers.
  • Notify management immediately of any accidents, damage, or violations, and take corrective action to prevent future incidents.
  • Follow good housekeeping and safety practices at all times, and assist with other duties as needed to support the team.

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of driving and traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
