Position Overview
We invite you to become a part of our dedicated team of Client Support Specialists, committed to assisting the remarkable individuals we serve. This is a full-time, 40-hour workweek position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial orientation for clients regarding program expectations and develop tailored Individual Program Plans.
  • Engage regularly with each client to monitor progress on program requirements, personal objectives, and financial management.
  • Collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure effective implementation of Individual Program Plans.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with service providers, family members, and supervisory staff regarding client progress.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular counseling sessions, providing guidance and accountability to clients.
  • Ensure timely communication of necessary information for service coordination and reporting.
  • Complete all required documentation for each client.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as scheduled.
  • Attend essential meetings, training sessions, and conferences within CRJ and with external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in case management.
  • Preferred: Experience working with correctional populations in a residential environment.

About Our Services
Community Strategies (CS) offers specialized services for adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities, including Day Programs and Shared Living arrangements. Social Justice Services (SJS) assists individuals transitioning from incarceration through both residential and non-residential programs.

Behavioral Health (BH) focuses on breaking cycles of violence and crime by providing client-centered interventions and support services aimed at empowering individuals and communities.

The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) operates at various levels to enhance public safety and justice delivery through technical assistance and research.
