Behavioral Support Specialist

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our adult residential programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behavior supports in our adult residential programs, utilizing best practices and implementing changes as client needs evolve.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual behavioral support plans, ensuring seamless integration of services.
- Conduct annual functional assessments to identify client needs and develop targeted interventions.
- Monitor and assess client progress, making adjustments to support plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other therapists to develop and implement special projects, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Attend agency, departmental, and client-specific meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Participate in ongoing professional training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, or a related field.
- Current BCBA License/Certification.
- At least two years of experience in behavior supports evaluation and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Technology proficiency.
