Multiple Faculty Positions Available
The Asian American Psychological Association is seeking applications for several faculty roles within the Department of Psychology. These positions aim to enhance our academic team and respond to faculty retirements.

Position Details:
1. Assistant Professor in Psychology and African American Studies
This joint role invites candidates from any specialization within Psychology and African American Studies. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, including a newly developed course in Black Psychology, and mentoring graduate research projects. Clinical supervision may be required for candidates specializing in clinical psychology.
2. Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology
We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in any aspect of lifespan development. The successful candidate will contribute to existing faculty strengths in developmental, clinical, cognitive, and social psychology while engaging in teaching and supervising graduate research.
3. Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology
We are looking for candidates with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. The successful applicant will be part of a well-regarded graduate program and will be responsible for teaching, supervising graduate research, and overseeing clinical practicum experiences. A commitment to evidence-based practices is essential.
4. Instructional Assistant Professor in Behavioral Psychology
This role focuses on teaching Behavioral Psychology, with an emphasis on neurodiversity, early intervention, and verbal behavior. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to effective supervision and teaching methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must possess or be on track to complete a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline by the designated appointment date. Specific requirements apply for clinical and behavioral psychology positions.
