POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store functions. This includes overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources tasks to deliver exceptional customer service and optimize profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Management:


Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective in-store sales strategies.

Sets clear expectations and holds the store team accountable for meeting brand standards in performance and behavior.

Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as staff scheduling, shrink audits, inventory management, and payroll documentation.

Conducts all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.

Ensures adherence to all relevant laws and loss prevention protocols; provides training to associates to reinforce compliance.

Administers inventory processes, including receipt and dispatch, and maintains merchandise levels on the sales floor.

Maintains visual merchandising and store organization that reflects the brand's image.

Fosters a high-performance culture by motivating the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.

Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team possesses comprehensive product knowledge.


Team Development:

Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values. Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving and maintains open communication with the Store Manager to drive positive changes.

Actively seeks personal development opportunities and welcomes feedback to enhance leadership skills.


Customer Engagement:

Demonstrates, teaches, and promotes exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Utilizes various sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers in making informed merchandise selections.

Addresses customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Ensures a smooth and quick checkout process, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.

Encourages consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.


Talent Management:

Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team. Supports and implements training programs and evaluates team performance.

Collaborates with the Store Manager to resolve human resources issues effectively.

Promotes team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.

Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.

Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Proven track record of exceptional customer service and sales leadership.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and team-building skills.

Knowledge of administrative functions related to store operations.

Regular attendance is essential to fulfill the requirements of this position.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Frequent climbing as needed.
