Job Title: Compliance Investigator

As a Compliance Investigator at SCAD, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our staff, faculty, and students adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations into potential violations, analyzing evidence, and interviewing relevant parties to gather facts. You will also be responsible for documenting and presenting your findings to senior management, facilitating decision-making and the implementation of corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct investigations into potential violations of laws, regulations, and university policies
  • Analyze evidence and interview relevant parties to gather facts
  • Document and present findings to senior management
  • Facilitate decision-making and the implementation of corrective measures
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff at all levels of the university
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, ethics, human resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in compliance investigations in an educational or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to higher education and compliance
  • Ability to work well under stress
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications in compliance, investigations, or related fields
Travel Requirements:
  • 10-20% travel required
Work Hours:

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
