Job Summary

As a Compliance Investigator at SCAD, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our staff, faculty, and students adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations into compliance matters, analyzing evidence, and interviewing relevant parties. You will also be responsible for updating policies in alignment with changing laws and regulations, working closely with our legal and HR departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct prompt and impartial investigations into compliance matters, collecting and analyzing evidence, and interviewing relevant parties.
  • Update policies in alignment with changing laws and regulations, working closely with our legal and HR departments.
  • Establish professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels of the university.
  • Present investigation results to relevant stakeholders, including senior management, to facilitate decision-making and the implementation of corrective measures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, ethics, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in compliance investigations in an educational or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to higher education and compliance.
  • Ability to work well under stress and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications in compliance, investigations, or related fields.
Work Environment

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday, with most offices open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate business needs.
