About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and results-driven Compliance Coordinator to join our team at PSSI. As a Compliance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with Federal and State Labor and Immigration laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach operations management on PSSI policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws
  • Conduct regular audits of Company I-9's, including newly hired, existing team members, and team members hired through acquisition or merger
  • Reply to government agency queries in a professional manner
  • Investigate compliance-related complaints, including verbal and written notifications
  • Investigate and follow up on Asure Timekeeping Records audits
  • Research federal, state, and local legal requirements to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
  • Run and send reports
  • Work with various human resource and payroll platforms
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned to the compliance department
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Adhere to PSSI confidentiality policies
  • Professional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to respond to multiple emails and phone calls daily with basic understanding of PSSI's HR functions/processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business with human resource emphasis or relevant work experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills to include written and verbal translations
