Job Overview

Position: Assistant Community Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the property waiting list effectively.
  • Facilitate on-site data collection and processing of resident details.
  • Organize resident recertification interviews and ensure their completion.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of income, assets, and rental amounts.
  • Support the manager with accounts receivable and payable tasks.
  • Coordinate apartment inspections and generate work requests.
  • Assist residents with their inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain resident files in compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Support office staff with various tasks, including rent collection and organizing social events.
  • Assist with various administrative and leasing responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Property Management.
  • Familiarity with Tax Credit LIHTC regulations.
  • Strong customer service skills and orientation.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • At least 2 years of recertification experience or relevant professional certification such as Certified Occupancy Specialist.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously on tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, One-Site Property Management Software, and Internet applications.
