Community Brain Injury Services (CBIS) is a dedicated non-profit organization that assists individuals with brain injuries across various regions. We are currently seeking a Case Manager to support clients in the Richmond area, working from our administrative and case management facilities.

At CBIS, we are committed to helping individuals who have experienced significant brain injuries. Our mission is to assist them in regaining their independence, rebuilding their self-esteem, re-engaging with their communities, and connecting them with essential resources for safe and independent living.

Position Overview:

Full-time case managers at CBIS are responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to adults affected by brain injuries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine service needs
  • Coordinating services among various providers
  • Developing and monitoring individualized service plans
  • Advocating, consulting, and educating clients, families, and the broader community

This role requires a community-based approach, with case managers meeting clients in their environments throughout the service area. The organization provides vehicles for case managers to facilitate travel, and maintaining a clean driving record is essential. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Qualified candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or a closely related field. Previous experience in case management is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience or experience working with individuals with disabilities. A valid driver's license, a good driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required, with mileage reimbursement available.

The annual salary for this position is $45,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
