WTW Inc. is on the lookout for a driven and ambitious Client Engagement Specialist to enhance our sales and business development division. This role is pivotal in generating initial client interest and securing partnerships for our premier compensation surveys, focusing on markets across the United States and Canada.

Position Overview

This is an exceptional chance to become part of a dynamic sales team and contribute to the evolution of our commercial strategy. Your unwavering determination for achieving commercial success will be instrumental in reaching our significant growth objectives in North America. This position is primarily focused on new client acquisition and requires a solid background in product sales and service, coupled with self-motivation and proven sales expertise. A comprehensive understanding of how survey data influences compensation strategies and the ability to identify client compensation challenges is crucial.

Lead Generation Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to pinpoint potential clients within targeted market segments, collaborating closely with our Marketing and Global Sales Operations teams.
  • Assess leads against established criteria to ensure alignment with the company's ideal customer profile.
  • Develop and nurture a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, and leveraging your professional network.

Outreach and Prospecting Duties:

  • Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events, to generate leads.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through tailored outreach campaigns.
  • Engage with potential clients to comprehend their needs, challenges, and pain points related to compensation management.
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition of WTW's compensation surveys and software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product leaders to ensure effective outreach and provide valuable insights to potential clients.
  • Manage sales campaigns and outreach initiatives, crafting compelling messaging that addresses prospect needs and clearly communicates our value proposition.

New Client Acquisition Tasks:

  • Evaluate prospects based on business criteria and develop a clear understanding of their unique compensation data requirements.
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective clients, showcasing the unique value of our offerings and providing demonstrations as necessary.
  • Involve colleagues when adjacent opportunities, such as software or consulting services, arise.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize sales proposals across our comprehensive range of products.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to Client Care for onboarding and account management.

Pipeline Management Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and current records of all lead generation activities within the CRM system.
  • Monitor the progress of leads through the sales funnel and provide regular updates to the sales team.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing and optimizing lead generation processes.

Market Research Duties:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities related to compensation surveys and software.
  • Offer feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on insights gathered from interactions with prospects.
  • Identify and assess emerging client or market needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, sales operations, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and CRM software is advantageous.
