Your Role

  • Independently conduct thorough research to develop investment recommendations for individual securities within the global technology sector, emphasizing both software and hardware business models. Considerations should include projected growth, competitive landscape, quality of financial disclosures, and management effectiveness.
  • Build financial models to generate critical inquiries necessary for the research process, identify key drivers, and project future revenues, earnings, and cash flows.
  • Engage in research visits and meetings to deepen industry knowledge, including interactions with competitors, clients, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Compile and present research findings to Portfolio Managers through comprehensive reports, written summaries, and presentations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an equity investment analyst, preferably on the buy side.
  • Proven stock selection skills with a history of delivering value.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities, including proficiency in constructing and maintaining models to forecast future financial performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and motivation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships both internally and externally.
  • Commitment to contributing to business growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA, along with CFA and/or CPA certifications are advantageous.

Investment Responsibilities

  • Support portfolios managed by the centralized equity research team.
