About the Role:

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with store associates, store management, and other district managers.
  • Continuously promote and represent the brand and product strengths to Lowes associates, customers, and contractors, highlighting competitive advantages and competitor weaknesses.
  • Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits, gathering and documenting competitor intelligence information.
  • Conduct contractor events to promote products and increase sales.
  • Ensure promotions, pricing, and signage are set appropriately in each store.
  • Prepare Annual Growth Plans (AGPs) for assigned stores in the territory that meet or exceed sales and profit goals.

Training and Development:

  • Conduct product knowledge (PK) training sessions for current and newly hired Lowes associates, covering features, benefits, and selling skills.
  • Conduct sales training to current and newly hired Lowes associates.
  • Promotional Display training to Lowes associates.
  • Training on how to conduct a 'color conversation' with customers.
  • Train store associates on equipment, such as tinting machines.

Service and Support:

  • Respond to and resolve product/service/inventory issues at the store level.
  • Assist store associates with tinting/mixing paint as needed.
  • Department review of all SW products, ensuring full stock and proper display.
  • Replace defective products.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • P&L review and management, including expense management, mistint expense tracking, collateral expenses, and T&E.
  • Assist other Sales Service Representatives as needed.
  • Attend required conference calls.
  • Attend local and non-local trainings as required.
  • Attend National Sales Meetings.
  • Complete required paperwork/reports in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 1+ year previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or other Business-related field.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong Organizational and Communication skills.
