Job Title: Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Stephens College is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Mathematics to join our faculty team in the School of Health Sciences. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics and physics to science majors, developing new ways to integrate mathematical and other quantitative concepts into our General Education curriculum, and providing academic and professional guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate courses in mathematics and physics to science majors
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students in mathematical reasoning and skills
  • Advise students on their academic and professional progress
  • Contribute to the development of curricula and programs within the School of Health Sciences
Requirements:
  • PhD in mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Experience teaching at the collegiate or university level
  • Ability to design and teach engaging courses for non-STEM majors
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
