EquipmentShare is seeking a Warranty Administrator to enhance our corporate team. This role is vital as our department expands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all documentation necessary for the precise and prompt processing of warranties, which includes: timely submissions, maintaining an organized filing system, evaluating credits, ensuring the timely return of parts, submitting goodwill claims, and advising service managers on parts disposal.
  • Verify the accuracy of all new equipment start dates in the system and manage data as required.
  • Maintain records and generate monthly recovery (paid) rate reports.
  • Report paid claims to the Warranty Supervisor.
  • Keep an organized filing system for all service department correspondence.
  • Monitor and track recurring equipment failures. Compile data and prepare reports on equipment failures and repairs.
  • Review and disseminate vendor warranty information, including service bulletins, manuals, and letters.
  • Track and report on manufacturers' campaigns and recalls.
  • Conduct all warranty audits with manufacturers.
  • Maintain an accurate library of vendor information related to warranty.

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as percentages, fractions, and basic arithmetic accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, basic accounting knowledge, and investigative skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires a high degree of collaboration with Regional Fleet and Regional Service Managers.
  • Familiarity with small and construction equipment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, 10-Key by touch, Outlook, Smart Sheet, PowerPoint, and typing.
  • Experience in the construction equipment rental industry or dealership is a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience is required.
  • Associate's degree in automotive technology, business administration, or supply chain logistics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
