About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Assistant Manager to join our team at Glacier National Park. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, leading our team, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of all aspects of Front Desk operations, including scheduling, training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Act as an example of excellent guest service for the team and communicate effectively with all departments and managers to ensure coordination with arrivals, departures, and guest needs.
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests and communicating with housekeeping to update the status of room readiness, arrivals, and departures.
  • Inform guests of special events or activities around the hotel and in the surrounding area and keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues, communicating details to the supervisor.
  • Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets and offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed.
Requirements
  • Hotel Management degree or 1-2 years of related management experience required.
  • 1-2 years of previous hotel front desk experience required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest are essential.
  • Ability to work solo or as part of a team and be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning and sanitizing standards.
  • Organized with a great eye for detail and kind to others, always bringing your best.
  • Good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions, and helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile.
  • Relaxed, flexible, and able to handle a few curveballs and ready to have fun.
