We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team at Bluebird Lake Placid. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has an exceptional stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service and adherence to hotel policies.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Operations and Administration: Oversee the front desk operations, including managing the budget, ordering supplies, and generating occupancy reports.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and cooperative work environment, providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the front desk team.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the general manager, department heads, and other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a front office manager, front desk, or similar position in the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
Working Conditions:

The Hotel Front Desk Manager will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and team members on a daily basis. The role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation: $21 - $23 hourly
