Overview

PeopleReady, a leading staffing agency, is seeking an Event Staff Worker to join their team. As an Event Staff Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth event experience for guests.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $17 per hour, based on the location and requirements of the job.

Job Description

As an Event Staff Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting guests with a friendly attitude and verifying their tickets to ensure they are valid.
  • Directing guests to their seats and providing information about the event and answering any questions they may have.
  • Assisting in maintaining the safety and security of the venue, including reporting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Unloading and loading audio, video, and staging equipment, as well as helping to assemble and disassemble it.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of the venue layout, including seating arrangements and exits.
  • Able to work various shifts, weekends, possibly holidays, and late nights.
  • A background check is required.
