About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to join our team as Associate Medical Director. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing leadership and psychiatric services at The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) located in New Britain, CT.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric services for adult, adolescent and child clients on in-patient units, and for the partial hospitalization programs.
- Provide direct patient services including diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy, as appropriate.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and may act as a clinical team leader for the coordination and supervision of care provided across clinical disciplines.
- Complete timely documentation of assessments, clinical interventions and discharge summaries and updates records as specified in medical staff regulations.
- Monitor risk indicators and act to address risk management issues in a timely manner to ensure client, staff and visitor safety, and to safeguard the Hospital from adverse events.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive benefits including low-cost medical/dental insurance, matching 401(k), generous paid time off, CME, and more.
