Job Overview

Seeking a skilled Loan Officer Assistant to enhance our leading brokerage in New York.

This role requires a consistent presence in the office, necessitating daily travel to our headquarters.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $72,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with one of New York's premier origination teams managing a substantial loan pipeline.
  • We operate in 32 states and are in search of a motivated Loan Officer Assistant to strengthen our team.
  • Assist with loan processing, oversee the loan pipeline, and ensure timely documentation completion.
  • Maintain effective communication and provide regular updates to clients, real estate professionals, and legal representatives involved in the loan process.
  • Exhibit sales proficiency to aid in business development initiatives, including outreach to potential referral partners such as real estate agents, accountants, attorneys, and financial advisors.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, driven team of professionals who strive for excellence and continuously seek personal and professional growth.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed within a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or a related sales role.
  • Experience with Encompass is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator status is preferred; if not licensed, willingness to obtain a license in New York is necessary.
  • Outgoing personality with comfort in client interactions, both in-person and via phone.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience in the mortgage sector with a solid understanding of loan structuring, underwriting standards, and processing.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure regular updates with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys.
  • Sales-driven attitude with the capability to contribute to business development efforts.
  • A positive demeanor, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn from industry leaders.
