Role Overview

The Home Loan Specialist will engage with Spanish-speaking clients, evaluating, qualifying, and processing their loan applications. This position involves coordinating the approval process within established investor guidelines and facilitating the disbursement of funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and sell loan packages to clients, including conducting meetings and consultations at their locations.
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives to support sales efforts, including outreach to real estate professionals and financial advisors.
  • Educate applicants about the loan application process.
  • Present various options tailored to clients' mortgage needs.
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding their credit requirements.
  • Collect comprehensive loan applications along with necessary supporting documents.
  • Assess potential loan candidates by reviewing their financial history.
  • Follow up on loan processing by gathering additional information from applicants as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication between lenders and borrowers.
  • Clearly communicate rates to borrowers both verbally and in writing prior to finalization.
  • Uphold the corporation's policies and procedures to ensure effective customer service.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly and tactfully.
  • Document and report customer complaints, recommending solutions to management.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
