Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to oversee our operations at Big Dave's Cheesesteaks. This role involves collaborating closely with the General Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Compensation:

$40,000 - Eligible for Bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Big Dave's Cheesesteaks' operational standards and procedures.
  • Participate in the training program and actively seek to enhance store operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute company initiatives and adhere to all applicable regulations.
  • Guide and mentor team members according to established protocols.
  • Maintain adherence to policies regarding food specifications and recipes.
  • Deliver quality food to customers at optimal temperatures.
  • Meet established ticket time standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of supplies, including food and cleaning materials.
  • Establish and maintain par levels for supplies.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and premises in accordance with relevant laws and procedures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant's interior and exterior.
  • Follow sanitation practices as outlined in guidelines.
  • Store food appropriately and monitor necessary temperatures.
  • Implement scheduled deep cleaning tasks.
  • Adhere to Big Dave's Cheesesteaks' Standard Operating Procedures for effective customer service.
  • Follow the training program to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a food service setting.
  • Strong focus on customer service and commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits a proactive, innovative, and adaptable work style.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and dependability.
  • Availability to attend necessary meetings, both in-person and virtually.
  • Support the General Manager during meetings and briefings.
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, reach, and push.
  • Able to lift and/or move kitchen items or equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to undertake additional tasks as assigned.
