Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee our store's daily functions. This role involves managing all aspects of store operations while collaborating closely with the General Manager.

Compensation:

$40,000 - Eligible for Bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the operational standards and procedures set by Big Dave's Cheesesteaks.
  • Engage in the training program and focus on enhancing store operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute initiatives as directed by the management.
  • Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Guide and train team members according to established protocols.
  • Maintain adherence to policies and standard operating procedures concerning food specifications and recipes.
  • Deliver quality food to customers at appropriate temperatures.
  • Meet established ticket time standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of supplies including food, paper products, cleaning supplies, uniforms, and linens.
  • Establish and maintain par levels for inventory.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, building, and premises in accordance with relevant laws and procedures.
  • Restock necessary small wares as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the restaurant.
  • Follow sanitation practices as per established guidelines.
  • Store food appropriately and monitor necessary temperatures.
  • Implement scheduled deep cleaning tasks.
  • Utilize Big Dave's Cheesesteaks Standard Operating Procedures to serve customers efficiently.
  • Participate in Big Dave's Training program to enhance store operations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a food service environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, innovative, and adaptable approach to work.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exhibits honesty, integrity, and dependability.
  • Availability to attend necessary meetings in person or virtually.
  • Support the General Manager during restaurant meetings and briefings.
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, reach, and push.
  • Able to lift and/or move kitchen items or equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to undertake additional tasks as assigned.
