We're a forward-thinking company in the solar energy sector, committed to driving change towards a sustainable future. As an HR & Operations Coordinator, you'll be part of a dynamic team that supports our corporate HR functions, office operations, and multidisciplinary team in Madison, WI.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in executing HR processes, such as onboarding, HR systems management, and open enrollment.
- Manage employee files and provide support with creating employment letters.
- Support event planning, including annual all-employee offsites and ad-hoc company-wide trainings.
- Contribute to recruiting efforts, including interview scheduling and reference checks.
- Manage the Human Resources email inbox and provide customer service to employees regarding HR policy questions.
- Take on other duties as assigned to support the HR Team.
- Oversee office supplies for the Madison office location.
- Coordinate purchase requisitions and tenant improvements for Madison Office.
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, vendors, and building management.
- Support the Development team with mailers, community meeting coordination, and other solar project development tasks as needed.
- Maintain company vehicles.
- Routinely triage company voice messages to appropriate team members.
- Distribute incoming mail.
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish trust with employees and manage sensitive information.
- Strong attention-to-detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, credibility, and sound decision-making.
We offer competitive compensation packages based on factors like experience, education, and skills. The estimated salary for this position is $49,600 - $55,400 per year, contingent upon experience and education.
