Join Lockheed Martin, a leader in aerospace and defense, at our Chelmsford Operations facility in Massachusetts, where we are at the forefront of microelectronics technology. We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler III to contribute to the fabrication and enhancement of RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of varying complexity.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and install connectors, substrates, components, and modules within intricate microwave systems.
- Conduct disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair tasks on diverse pre-production subassemblies and complete systems.
- Strategically plan work sequences to adhere to project timelines.
- Employ measurement tools to verify that units meet specified standards.
- Collaborate effectively with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams.
- Operate independently with minimal oversight.
- Proven experience in electronics or microelectronics assembly.
- Competence in working under a microscope and utilizing hand tools.
- Strong dexterity and coordination between hand and eye.
- Ability to interpret and work from process documentation and schematics.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience in environments controlled for ESD and FOD.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly procedures.
- Background with military products in regulated settings.
- Capability to solder components effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience working within diverse teams.
