The Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody is seeking a skilled professional to lead our banquet team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • **Banquet Supervisor Experience**: We require a candidate with prior experience in a hotel or resort setting, preferably in a banquet supervisor role.
  • **Effective Communication**: The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests.
  • **Physical Demands**: The ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift is essential.
  • **Time Management**: The candidate must be able to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • **Team Player**: A proven team player with a positive attitude is required.
  • **Availability**: Must have availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Lead the Banquet Team**: Lead the banquet team in the serving of guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • **Plan Assignments**: Plan opening and closing assignments to ensure a smooth operation.
  • **Maintain Public Areas**: Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean.
  • **Coordinate with Staff**: Coordinate with banquet staff to set up, change, and schedule functions.
  • **Operate as a Banquet Server**: Operate as a banquet server, setting up, greeting, and serving guests, and breaking down the function.
  • **Inspect Banquet Areas**: Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean.
  • **Menu Knowledge**: Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be served.
  • **Additional Duties**: Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
