POSITION SUMMARY
The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for collecting data, calculating charges and fees, and generating invoices for billing purposes. This role also involves general bookkeeping tasks, customer communication, and additional responsibilities as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 - Calculate costs associated with goods, services, and delivery/shipment.
- Verify the accuracy of billing information and rectify any discrepancies.
- Prepare itemized statements, bills, invoices, and other essential billing documents, which may involve calculating credit terms, shipping fees, discounts, and product costs.
- Record amounts owed for items purchased or services rendered.
- Conduct general bookkeeping activities, including data entry and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents for amounts due.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary billing documents.
- Communicate with customers to obtain, verify, and update account information as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY USED
 Computers, printers, telephones, calculators.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
 - Familiarity with general clerical and administrative procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in organization and time management.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to learn new software systems with training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 - 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Associate's degree or vocational training.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
 - Must exhibit AGILE principles. The ability to hold oneself and others accountable, maintain a personal growth mindset, act with integrity, demonstrate leadership qualities to motivate and support colleagues, and practice everyday improvement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
 - Work is performed in a typical office setting with climate control.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
