Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Hotel Front Desk Attendant to enhance our guest services team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing their accounts, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints to ensure a memorable experience for all visitors. Your exceptional communication skills and commitment to guest satisfaction will be essential in this position.

Compensation:

$18 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date hotel guest records and information.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints as needed.
  • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests, providing keys and room assignments while securely handling credit card information.
  • Manage incoming calls and process room booking requests both online and in-person, while responding to inquiries regarding room rates, availability, amenities, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are prepared and ready for arrivals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservation management systems.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality sector as a hotel front desk agent, receptionist, or guest service representative.
  • Experience in handling phone inquiries and managing stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
