Job Summary

The Account Manager at Belt Power will be responsible for working alongside the Outside Sales Team and performing a variety of duties to ensure customer satisfaction. This role will serve as the liaison between the Outside Sales Team and Production Team to meet customer delivery schedules and ensure complete customer understanding of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed all customer expectations.
  • Handle customer requests with a sense of urgency.
  • Build and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain and promote strong customer relationships both internally and externally.
  • Effectively communicate/engage with internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the key contact for any issues from the quoting to invoicing.
  • Accurately process quotes, orders, returns, and purchasing via phone, fax, email, and the use of the ERP system.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on production and delivery schedules.
  • Manage multiple priorities.
  • Review open order reports daily, ensuring customer expectations are being met.
  • Issue and follow up on purchase orders to vendors.
  • Follow through on each transaction to completion.
  • Keep up to date with new product, inventory, market conditions, and industry trends.
  • Ensure that all efforts are in line with the business goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with outside sales, operations, and accounting teams.
  • Communicate with outside sales on potential leads and opportunities from various sources.
  • Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Provide new customer data and current data to the Accounts Receivable Department.
  • Direct all pricing questions up to $3,000 to the Senior Inside Sales Coordinator and over $3,000 to Vice President of Sales.
  • Utilize upselling sales techniques whenever and wherever possible.
  • Complete individual quarterly MBO's.
  • Represent Belt Power in a professional manner at all times.

Physical Demands

The Account Manager may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls. Tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, install, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the Account Manager will be regularly exposed to working near moving and mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position in office, shop, and at the customer site. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Frequent overtime hours, and weekend work may be required.

Pay Range

$24.03 - $28.85
