Job Title: National Accounts Manager

BlueLinx is a leading U.S. wholesale distributor of residential and commercial building products. We are seeking a highly skilled National Accounts Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of assigned National Accounts. This includes creating long-term account strategies, analyzing product and pricing, and developing sales forecasts and related data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the company's vision, mission, and strategy, and set individual performance goals accordingly.
  • Promote products and programs to national accounts, presenting new and existing products/programs to key decision-makers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profits, while acting as an expert advisor to buyers.
  • Partner with key customers to identify program, product, distribution, and merchandising solutions that increase profits for the customer and BlueLinx.
  • Manage multiple priorities, sense of urgency, and innovative problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, and business development.
  • Excellent ability to operate with considerable latitude in situations requiring original or new concepts/approaches.
  • Financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and proficiency using Microsoft Office Software.
  • Ability to work with a team of cross-functional BlueLinx employees to develop, execute, and drive a successful profitable strategy.
