Role Summary:

The Lead Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing project budgets, tracking progress, engaging stakeholders, and collaborating with team members to prepare for future project needs. This position is accountable for the overall Safety, Quality, and Cost management of projects. As a Lead Project Coordinator, you will need to exhibit strong leadership qualities while maintaining a strategic perspective on project developments, as well as managing day-to-day operational details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adhere to Project Management Methodologies.
  • Utilize various software tools to facilitate project tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data, including budgets and expenditures, to ensure project financial health.
  • Negotiate costs and optimize resource allocation to prevent budget overruns.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential cost impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and communication skills.
  • Prioritize tasks and understand project sequences for optimal execution.
  • Resolve challenges that may affect project timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage project schedules and understand critical path methodologies.
  • Document lessons learned and conduct root cause analyses for project events.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans for complex initiatives.
  • Ensure thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support for construction and engineering efforts.
  • Lead the project management team and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Engage in continuous learning and networking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of thought leadership and innovation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Experience in agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a relevant role, with technical field experience in energy and technology.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills, with a focus on timely deliverables.
  • Ability to understand and align business needs with strategic priorities.
  • Field travel may be required.
