Regional Sales Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join Minol M T R Lp as a Regional Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a sales territory covering multiple states within the U.S. Your primary focus will be on supporting distribution and calling directly on utility customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Field sales calls on prospective and existing customers throughout the assigned territory (40% of time)
• Recruit, select and sign distributors and assist in their training. Manage distributors so that their sales people are actively selling Zenner products (35% of time)
• Coordinate closely with the President Zenner to assure that customer needs are met (5% of time)
• Coordinate with Manager inside sales support the response for RFPs and Bids within the assigned territory (5% of time)
• Attend and support trade shows within the assigned territory, make recommendations on what shows to attend (5% of time)
• Assist in the establishment of budgets (sales, costs and margins) and assure that budgeted commitments are met (5% of time)
• All other duties as assigned (5% of time)
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent real world experience
• At least 3 years' experience in sales and distribution management or experience selling AMI/AMR equipment desired
• Experience working with contractors
• Proficient working with Microsoft programs, word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook
• Willing to do extensive overnight travel to cover territory
