Job Description

The Screening Team at Guardant Health is focused on the development and commercialization of our early cancer detection portfolio. As a Regional Sales Director, you will lead a team of Account Executives within a designated region, promoting our SHIELD product to general practice providers and their practices. Your responsibilities will include prospecting and targeting to identify early adopters, partnering with laboratories to secure phlebotomy draw agreements, and building relationships with key thought leaders and decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and target to identify early adopter regions and generate adoption of SHIELD.
  • Partner with national, regional, and local laboratories to secure phlebotomy draw agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with key thought leaders and decision makers in assigned regions.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop direct reports, including Account Executives.
  • Manage sales targets and maintain ongoing reporting of progress with management team.
  • Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of direct experience in a customer-facing sales role in a medical, diagnostic, or med device company.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership or sales management capacity.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams who promote products or services directly to primary care providers, gastroenterologists, and their practices.
