Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Initiate and manage purchase orders, including negotiation of prices and terms.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, lead times, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, with experience in procurement software a plus.
- Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical and PC-based equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
