Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives within the supply chain department.
Responsibilities- Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations, such as FAR and DFAR.
- Develop and maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Lead the identification, implementation, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements, including long-term agreements.
- Support the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Working understanding of AS9100 standards and knowledge of Engineering Data, such as specifications and source control drawings.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Current active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Access.
- Experience in Avionics.
