Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to provide support for our customer located in Washington D.C.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and manage procurement plans.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of solicitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and invitations for bids (IFBs).
- Evaluate vendor proposals and bids, ensuring they meet federal regulations and contract requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist in contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
- Stay current with federal procurement regulations and industry trends.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must participate in a federal background investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 6 to 9 years of federal government contracting experience.
- Preferred knowledge of STRIPES.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Desirable Skill: Knowledge of 2 CFR 200.
