Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Infectious Diseases Department, including reception, scheduling, and data management.
- Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the department to achieve goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to navigate complex clinical and data systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysis.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with presentations and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, Joint Commission, CDC standards, and practices for healthcare providers is preferred.
