Office Manager: Dr. Nicole Matar

The Office Manager for Dr. Nicole Matar is responsible for providing administrative support to the pain management physician. This role involves coordinating daily office operations, scheduling patient appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedules patient appointments and coordinates with the HSS booking office
* Coordinates and arranges the physician's clinical calendar and patient flow
* Answers phones and triages calls, coordinates meetings
* Maintains adequate inventory of office supplies
* Suggests and implements processes to improve efficiency and service
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a physician office or like service-focused environment
* Associates degree required - 5 years of experience in a physician's office may be substituted in lieu of education requirement
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required
* Detail-oriented with ability to follow directions and identify issues to be escalated and followed-through
* Strong computer skills including familiarity with EMR or other related software programs
* Ability to work in a flexible and a fast-paced environment
* Ability to contribute and work collaboratively as part of a team
Working Conditions:
The Office Manager will work in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Tasks may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other possibly infectious materials.
