Job Summary

: The Administrative Coordinator - Special Education is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Special Education and other key personnel. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain detailed records and confidential files.

Key Responsibilities

:
  • Organize and assemble information on legal matters involving Special Education and Board of Education policies
  • Maintain detailed office records and confidential files
  • Respond to public information requests related to special education and 504 Plan programming
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars of key personnel
  • Perform related work as directed

Requirements

:
  • Graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree in paralegal studies or a business concentration
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience in office work
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
