Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of our clinical team at Forefront Dermatology. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-in and Registration: Verify patient information, update records, and ensure accurate billing and insurance processing.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the waiting area, maintain a clean and organized environment, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Scheduling and Follow-up: Schedule appointments, manage schedules, and follow up with patients as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and ordering supplies.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, respond to patient inquiries, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or a similar capacity preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in basic computer functions, ability to learn new software quickly, excellent customer service and communication skills, and attention to detail.
