Job Description Summary:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analytical tasks, acting as a finance business partner to various internal departments.

The role primarily supports departments with indirect spending and moderate complexity.

This position involves regular collaboration with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and FP&A management during budget creation, variance analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated finance business partner to internal departments, assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and expense tracking.
  • Provide actionable insights that align with the organization's objectives, enhancing departmental reporting and financial analysis with guidance from FP&A management.
  • Solicit capital budget requests from supported departments, aid in prioritization, and present findings to FP&A management. Once approved, monitor actual expenditures and update forecasts as necessary.
  • Create and maintain regular financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity and validation during month-end close, including transactional research from financial systems and source documents.
  • Assist with additional analyses and projects as required.
  • Identify, gather, and analyze data from various sources, develop hypotheses and conclusions, and present analytical findings to FP&A management.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in advanced Excel and experienced with financial analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Adaptive, Tableau, PeopleSoft, Datawarehouse).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all organizational levels.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
  • Exhibit a high level of accuracy, productivity, and flexibility to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven setting.
Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis is required.

Additional Information:
