Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Ensure that required staffing levels are met for each shift, making adjustments as needed to ensure adequate care for residents.
- Resident Care: Monitor the provision of resident care, ensuring that required documentation is completed and interventions are implemented as needed.
- Communication: Attend and participate in regular meetings with nursing staff, residents, and families to ensure open communication and address any concerns.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Education and Training: Identify educational needs of staff and work collaboratively with the Facility Educator to meet these needs.
- Compliance: Ensure that resident care and documentation are in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, including HIPAA.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a long-term care or acute care setting, with a minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role.
- Licensure: Active RN licensure in the assigned state(s) of employment.
